Type Approval for Cameroon
The conformity requirements are basically identical to those of the European Union. (Declaration of Conformity according to EU Directive 2014/53/EU). We are supported by a local partner who directly cooperates with the authority in Yaoundé, whereby certificates can be acquired within a short processing time. The homologation process in Cameroon does not require local laboratory testing or contact with local representatives. However, product samples are requested for inspection by the authority. The certificates have a limited validity period, currently three years and approved products are subject to mandatory labeling.
